The Venture Ecosystem
Fund structures, LP/GP mechanics, and how capital moves from institution to early-stage company.
An 8-week venture capital fellowship for university women in Israel, from every academic discipline. We build the analytical foundation, institutional relationships, and investment fluency that the venture capital industry urgently needs.
That is the share of venture capital decision-makers, globally, who are women. Women2VC exists because the pipeline into those roles forms years before anyone writes a cheque — at university, where almost nobody is teaching this.
01 — The gap
Venture capital decides which companies get built. The people making that decision are drawn from a narrow pipeline.
02 — What this is
Women2VC trains university women from every academic discipline to think like investors — from financial fundamentals to live investment decisions. We operate at the formation stage: before the first internship, before the first analyst role, before the market decides who belongs.
We recruit from law, engineering, biology, computer science, economics, and the humanities — because the best investment thinkers are not always the ones who studied finance.
Operating in Israel · Expanding to the UK
03 — The community
The WhatsApp group is where the community talks between cohorts — open sessions, deadlines, and questions answered by women already in the industry.
Photography slots — awaiting real cohort and event images.
04 — Eight weeks
Fund structures, LP/GP mechanics, and how capital moves from institution to early-stage company.
Reading financial statements, unit economics, and the operating metrics that define early-stage health. Introduction to evaluating AI-native companies — what moat looks like when the technology is moving this fast.
Thesis-driven sourcing, market mapping, and building a proprietary view of emerging sectors.
A full diligence process on a live company — team, product, market, technology. Includes evaluating go-to-market strategy: how a company plans to reach customers, and whether the plan is credible.
Pre- and post-money mechanics, SAFEs, cap tables, and the key clauses in a standard term sheet.
Board dynamics, KPI frameworks, follow-on decisions. What a fund does after the investment — how investors add value through introductions, hiring, strategic advice, and governance.
Each fellow writes a full investment thesis — peer review and mentor feedback before final presentation.
Fellows present to active fund professionals, followed by structured introductions to partner funds.

05 — What you leave with
Written on a real company, reviewed by active fund professionals. Evidence of work, not potential.
A personal, repeatable framework for evaluating markets, founders, and technology. Built through practice, not taught through slides.
Structured into the programme — not made over cold outreach. The relationship exists before any hiring conversation.
Lifelong access to a growing community of women across the venture ecosystem, at every career stage.
A formal certificate alongside a practical investor toolkit: DD framework, memo template, and resource library.
06 — Programmes
Each programme is designed for a different stage of the journey — from a first introduction to the industry, to full investment training.
A structured one-on-one pairing between participants and working investors. Not a coffee chat — a professional relationship with clear goals, regular check-ins, and a defined arc.
Work directly with early-stage companies on real operational challenges — market research, competitive analysis, pitch preparation. Exposure to the startup ecosystem from the inside.
A single session — 90 minutes — designed for high school students with no prior knowledge. What is a startup? Where does the money come from? What does an investor actually do? Real answers, no jargon.
Identify early-stage companies, connect female founders with investors, and contribute to the deal flow pipeline. Scouts develop sourcing instincts and build direct relationships with fund professionals.
Annual gatherings bringing together women from every stage of the VC journey — workshops, investor panels, a pitch competition, and time to build the relationships that matter.
07 — Events
Hadera Community Centre · Open to all high school students · No prior knowledge needed.
Investment memo presentations to a panel of active fund professionals, followed by structured introductions.
Workshops, investor panels, networking, and a pitch competition. Open to all levels.
08 — Questions
Women2VC is open to university students from any institution and any academic discipline — law, engineering, biology, computer science, economics, humanities, and beyond. No finance background is required. We select on analytical capacity, intellectual curiosity, and genuine motivation.
Fellows should expect to invest approximately 10–15 hours per week across structured sessions and independent work. The programme is designed to run alongside existing academic commitments, not replace them.
Sessions are conducted in Hebrew and English depending on the speaker and session format. Written materials are in English. Strong Hebrew is an asset but not a requirement.
Applications and admissions are handled through the Women2VC website. For questions about programme fees and structure, please contact us directly through the form below.
Applications are reviewed for analytical rigour, intellectual honesty, and genuine motivation. We are not looking for polished answers — we are looking for honest ones. Cohorts close at 20 fellows. We recommend applying early.
The programme is designed for current university students. If you are a recent graduate or have a compelling reason to apply as a non-student, please explain your situation in the application form. We consider each case individually.
Selection is rigorous. We are looking for women who approach ambiguity analytically, take positions seriously, and understand that eight weeks of genuine effort is the smallest possible investment in a decades-long career.
For those who intend to be in the room.
